Completed in 1882, the Redpath Museum received the collections of Sir William Dawson, who was the principal of McGill University at the time. The museum currently holds extensive collections in the fields of paleontology, zoology, mineralogy, and world cultures (ethnology). It has several research labs and a Victorian teaching auditorium.

Please note: The museum is temporarily closed at the moment. You can keep yourselves updated by calling their main line or follow them on social media as their program should be back shortly.
